Service Tip #12 - Enough is Not Enough Anymore!

Get your service manager, advisors, techs, parts people and support staff together for a good old-fashioned revival meeting. Tell them enough is not enough anymore. Let them know that you need the service and parts departments to sell more, retain more customers, and profit more than ever before. Level with them about car sales and commit to do whatever it takes to help them all make more money in the future by setting clear objectives for dollars per repair order, effective labor rate, menu sales and sales. Teach them how to answer the phone, how to get more customers in, and how to overcome objections. In other words, teach them how to sell. Chances are, nobody has ever done that before. Try it!
