Service Tip #14: Just Sell It!

I often hear service customers ask Advisors for a price on something and the Advisor responds with a statement like, "Oh no, you don't want that. It's far too expensive!" Obviously this makes no sense, but I hear it every day. Here's the deal - if customers want pricing or information on something - no matter what it is - your job is to "Just Sell It!" Gift the customer’s reasons to buy. Give them features, benefits, and advantages - and "Just Sell It!" Don't pre-qualify your customers. Don't decide if they want to buy. Be honest, be truthful and be sincere, but don't make the buying decision for them. That is the customers' job. Your job is to "Just Sell It!" Try it! You’ll like it!
