Service Tip #6 - Be Willing to Negotiate

If the tough economy has taught us anything it’s that we have to be willing to work deals on almost everything. For years, the only negotiating took place in the vehicle sales department but times have changed and you need to change with them. Teach your service salespeople to priority sell if they can't get the whole list of suggested services bought at once. Teach them to listen and watch the customer’s body language and not be afraid to work the deal by going to the service manager for negotiations. You need every customer and every dollar you can get today and the best way to succeed is to become a service sales department. Try it! You’ll like it!
