Founder & President
Randy Johnson is the Founder and President of Car People Marketing. Before opening Car People Marketing in 2001, Randy grew up in the independent repair business in West Virginia before eventually becoming the Corporate Fixed-Operations Director over 17 dealerships in Florida. Today, he is a highly sought after keynote speaker for leading service and parts events across the country and recognized as an automotive industry thought-leader. Randy is passionate about helping dealership service departments thrive and is deeply committed to the products his company offers. Randy’s real-world and direct approach coupled with his grit drives our success and the success of our clients.
Travis Whitaker has worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years. He started working in dealership parts departments before working his way up to the Fixed Operations Director at a Chevrolet dealership in Central Florida. As the General Manager of Car People Marketing, Travis, together with his Management Team, oversees all company operations.
Marc Larabel started working for Walt Disney World at the age of 18 in WDW Central Shops Paint Shop and was eventually promoted to Foreman and put in charge of special projects. He joined Car People Marketing in 2003 and oversees the company’s Production department. Marc is responsible for the equipment, processes and team members that are necessary to allow us to proudly produce all of our company’s products in-house.
Customer Service Manager
Tracy Griffith moved to Florida when she was young and took a position managing banquet services for John Knox Village. In 2005, she joined Car People Marketing’s Data Department and is presently the company’s Direct Mail and Data Manager. Tracy works with her team daily to ensure customer success and quality control.
Jared was born and raised in the Daytona Beach area where our corporate office is located. After high school he attended the University of South Florida and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Leadership Studies. After receiving his degree, he spent a year in Tallahassee working at a Toyota store before moving back home and joining Car People Marketing in August of 2014. Jared is responsible for business development activities through researching and creating marketing opportunities while providing support for our sales representatives across the country. He also creates, manages, and grows our business presence across social media platforms and digital campaigns.
